The Image Project
The main objective of the Image Project is to promote and celebrate the New Forest National park, its heritage, people and environment. We collect, research, scan and catalogue rare, old and interesting images from various formats including old photographs, slides, negatives, glass plates and digital files loaned or donated from the community.

This historic collection is available for educational use. This project is supported by the New Forest National Park Authority's Sustainable Development Fund.
The educational benefits would enhance and assist the current curriculum by involving students of all ages in researching their local area past and present, providing the library with pictures with captions based on their learning and sharing their images with other schools
The library images can be used by schools free of charge.
